You can watch our firsts updates of the first and second year with a video by the families in charge of the tree nurseries.
Normally we film and document the sowings and the whole process as we are filmmakers and this project is a storytelling platform too. Now we passed this part to the families we are working with. It is a challenge to communicate with them due to the lack of internet access, but we were able to re-organize everything and are very happy to present to you the outcome.
They started with self-documenting during these very hard times for everyone and tried their best with the possibilities they have.
Some of them do not want to show up in videos, or photos and we totally honor and respect that, although, for us and the donors it is important to see the actions that were taken. By working together we have been able to find a balance that works for everyone to share with you.
