THE CO-CREATIVE LAB: SOLSTICE EDITION
A creative lab and peregrination of spiritual payments alongside the elders and guardians of the Heart of the World.
This co-creative lab on Ancient Cultural Heritage and interculturality was born from the idea to weave stories, art, codes, culture, and impact; bringing together people and projects that are helping to deepen our relationship with nature and ourselves. What is required from each of us to co-create ancient futures together and uplift projects that celebrate both individual and planetary health?
We, our bodies, are vessels in which projects flow through us as thoughts, ideas, stories, experiences, and feelings. Everything then, begins with the self and our thoughts; thus, there is no better project than ourselves. Rather than directing our focus outward, what if we tuned inward—purifying the source of our thoughts, the portals through which these ideas are born? When these inner channels are clear and spacious, the possibilities of what we create become expansive, sacred, multi-dimensional, and limitless.
During this transformative week (you have been warned!), we will:

On a deeper level, the aim of this experience is to exchange the strength of codes from our different territories to create positive impact around us.
Join us for a blissful 6-day, 5-night lab in a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve where we will nourish the body, reawaken the spirit, regenerate our divine power, and dive deep into our magical, inner worlds. Through sacred practices and nature-connection we will remember and rewild ourselves.

How does it work? What is our impact?
Every year this special gathering is focused on bringing ecological, cultural & regenerative impact and protection of a 200.000mts of jungle in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta that we call home.
Sé is the ecological reserve that we share with the Arhuaco family of Ruperto and is the sacred nest for intercultural work and exchanges.
This year the impact will be for the construction of water systems and the Cultural Temple of the reserve! Vamooooooos!

Refund Policy & Cancelations:
If you notify us at least 40 days before the retreat start date, we will refund your course without a reservation deposit but will deduct an administration fee of 25%. If you notify us less than 30 days before the retreat start date, we cannot provide a refund, but you can send someone else in your place.

Where do I fly into and how far is Gitana Del Mar from the airport?We are located about 65 kilometers away from the closest airport in the area - Santa Marta International Airport (SMR) - which takes approx 1 hour & 20 minutes by car to get to us. We recommend flying into Santa Marta International Airport for convenience. However, here is the distance to Gitana del Mar from other cities: Barranquilla approx 3 Hours in Private Car or Van Cartagena napprox 4.5 Hours in Private Car or Van Transport [In Marsol Public Van Service it's about 5-6 hours]

When should I plan to arrive and leave?We will begin promptly on Wednesday, June 18th at 4pm. **Please coordinate your flights to arrive by the latest 12pm on the 18th to give yourself a stress-free arrival and to be checked in and settled at Gitana by 4pm. The Lab will end on Monday, June 23rd by 11am. **We recommend booking flights that depart after 3pm on the 23rd.

Is a visa required?A visa is not required to enter Colombia for stays of less than 90 days for the majority of nationalities. I believe that all of you are from the countries that forgo a visa but please double check online if you are unsure. All you need is a valid passport and proof of return - you must have confirmation/proof of your return flight.

What language will the Lab be in?The Lab will be tailored for English speakers, however many parts will be translated from Spanish to English - so it is suitable for Spanish speakers as well. We will have translators to translate Kogi and Arhuaco into Spanish, and then English.
